Visual communications involves planning, designing, analyzing and creating communications that convey information in forms that can be read or seen. Businesses and media organizations employ visual communications professionals to help them communicate with various audiences.

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU:

The Visual Communications program in the School of Drafting and Design at ITT Tech can help students develop knowledge and skills that they can use to help design and create interactive multimedia communications and print communications. Topics explored through classroom instruction and hands-on applications include graphic design, multimedia applications and related technical subjects.

Graduates of this program may pursue entry-level positions involving the design and production of digital and print media utilizing a variety of applications used in corporate and public communications. These positions may include computer graphics technician, interactive media designer, production artist and multimedia technician.
