This program exposes students to a variety of fundamental skills utilized in entry-level industrial and manufacturing positions. Students will be exposed to various aspects of optimization, human factors, economic analysis, industrial processes, industrial planning procedures, computer applications, and report and presentation preparation.
This program offers graduates an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills that can help them pursue employment in a variety of entry-level positions that utilize various aspects of industrial engineering technology in both service and manufacturing organizations, such as industrial engineering technician, quality technician, test technician and manufacturing technician.
Graduates who have difficulty distinguishing colors may not be able to perform the essential functions of various positions involving industrial engineering technology.

Students will have the opportunity to use the following school equipment as required throughout the program: computer systems, printers and other common computer peripherals. Refer to Student Equipment in the Online Course Information section of this catalog for information relating to the student equipment requirements for the distance education courses that are taught online over the Internet.
Classes generally range in size from 15 to 30 students. Depending on the course subject matter, certain classes may contain a greater or lesser number of students.
